Product Design
STAR WARS Movie Marathon
Client: LEGO / Disney
Locale: DE
Involvement: Product UX, Visual Design, client pitch
Background
LEGO wanted to showcase their newest STAR WARS helmet products on Fire TV as it connects really well with the legendary movie series.
Challenge
There wasn’t a product available yet on Fire TV to provide a seamless connection between video content and real world products - especially deep linking within Fire TV landing pages.
Solution - Fire TV nested landing pages
I hacked our internal Fire TV landing page builder tool and created a nested landing page structure to be able to have a homepage to navigate between movie content and product content. We then offered the STAR WARS movies at a reduced price and created a “Movie Marathon” experience where viewers should get inspired to build their own LEGO helmets.
Results
From that moment on we were able to sell this solution as a product to multiple other clients who were interested in this kind of scenario, connecting movie content to their products. The campaign performed with exceptional CTR and movie sales while the helmets add-to-cart rates were above goal.
Fire Tablet Lookbook
Client: Sennheiser
Locale: DE
Involvement: Product UX, Visual Design, client pitch
Background
A new series of Sennheiser headphones had launched and we wanted to offer a brand new and high awareness experience for customers to explore the new series on their Fire Tablets.
Challenge
We needed a full custom product in order to add new features to the usually static Fire Tablet home screens. This involved selectable items, videos and image galleries on a very limited display.
Solution - Fire Tablet Lookbook
Working together with our developers, I created a product architecture and screen layout to implement all content in a fluid and fun screen experience. It needed to work in both landscape and portrait modes and for several different generations of Fire Tablet devices, including safe zones and device limitations.
